Dick
Located in Peter Holmes' driveway, this tractor was donated to the trail by Dick Garnett, a pioneer to the district and a passionate local vintage tractor enthusiast. He is famous across this country for his knowledge for all things 'tractor'. This is named after him.
"Dick" was originally sold to Noel Parnell, brand new, by WE & M Parnell's Chamberlain dealership in Gnowangerup. He spent his whole working life exactly across the road from his current location. Dick Garnett heard that there had been a problem with his motor and he had been put out to rest. Mr Garnett acquired "Dick" for a carton of beer!
We are thrilled that he can now overlook the places he worked during his lifetime.
Barloo Feed Mill
A little way further along the route, you will pass "Barloo" feed mill. This establishment processes high-quality feed pellets for stock, made from locally sourced produce.
