This tractor is located on the property of one of Gnowangerup's most famous merino breeding studs--Barloo.
The adjacent house (across the road) "Telyarup", is an original homestead representative of Queen Anne style architecture in a rural setting.
In 1910, Michael Corbett, an Irish immigrant built "Telyarup" and it was considered a showpiece of the time.
The House Family of Barloo Stud have restored the house to it's former glory after it fell in to disrepair and are now custodians of this wonderful property.
The tractor is named in honour of Barbara Garnett, who has followed her husband, Dick, around the country, on his tractor-loving adventures. "Barb" is one of the very early models of the Chamberlain Champion 6G , serial number 127.
