Welcome to The Horsepower Highway

THE Chamberlain 9G welcomes travelers to the Horsepower Highway.

Gnowangerup was home to the first Western Australian dealership for Chamberlain tractors and most of the town’s land was worked by the horse and single plough – as seen at this stop.

The plough on display is an absolute original to the Gnowangerup district, permanently loaned from Glenorchy Estate.

Glenorchy Estate is a farm founded by Prussian settlers in 1918, who moved from South Australia’s Barossa Valley to branch out west.
